Actually I've already upgrades my R5 server to R6. I might try to get the eval copy of Symantec and see if it can be crowbar'ed into an already-upgraded R6 server. Looks like Symantec is the direction we're heading since they're offering us a decent "competitive upgrade" discount for moving off of NAI's product line organization-wide.
WRT Notes 3.x, my first introduction to Notes was with 3.x back around 1995 timeframe. I still have sitting on my desk in front of me, my old Sybex "Mastering Lotus Notes 3.x" book!
